Local Emergency Planning Committee

Under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPCs) develop an emergency response plan, review the plan at least annually, and provide information about chemicals in the community to citizens. The LEPC meets every other month and the focus is on working to coordinate the multiple agencies and private partners who respond to emergencies.  Registration is required and lunch is provided.
