DESCRIPTION:This course will prepare you to help yourself\, your family\, a
 nd your neighbors in the event of a disaster. During an incident\, emergen
 cy services personnel may not be able to reach everyone right away. By get
 ting trained in CERT\, you will have the skills to help emergency responde

 of students will be 20\n 	Students are required to attend or be excused\, 
 by an instructor\, from a class to attend the final and receive a certific
 ate\n 	Students are expected to wear appropriate work clothing to classes 
 with practical skills\n 	Opportunities will be available to students who w
 ould like to become an instructor\n 	A backpack with gloves\, goggles\, ve
 st\, and helmet will be provided free of charge for students who complete 
 class (as supply's are available)\n 	Children age 12 - 17 may attend accom
 panied by an adult participant\n\nCERT Participant manual
