SUMMARY:Rural Preparedness Summit
DESCRIPTION:The Southwest Utah Rural Preparedness Summit will be held on 
 February 27 and 28\, 2017 at Dixie State University. The summit is sponsor
 ed by the Southwest Utah Public Health Department and its local partners.\
 n\nWho should attend? Emergency managers\, first responders\, health and m
 edical professionals\, emergency volunteers\, community leaders\, and any
 one interested in learning about rural community emergency plans in southw
 est Utah.  Only $25 if you work in the southwest Utah region(Washington\,
  Iron\, Kane\, Beaver\, and Garfield  counties)! Education credits availa
 ble.\n\nThe focus of the summit is to fill knowledge gaps identified in re
 cent exercises with the following objectives:\n1- Strengthen and update ru
 ral emergency plans\n2- Understand how to work together for quick and effe
 ctive response to an emergency\n3- Improve preparedness for your agency\,
  group\, organization\, and family\n4- Understand your individual role in 
 rural emergency response\, enabling you to be part of the solution and not
