SUMMARY:S131 Advanced Wildland Firefighter
DESCRIPTION:S‐131\, is a twelve hour course designed to meet the
  training needs of\nthe Firefighter Type 1 (FFT1) and/or Incident
  Commander Type 5 (ICT5). This course is designed to be interac
 tive in nature. It contains class discussion and several tactical
  decision games designed to facilitate learning the objectives. T
 opics include:\n\noperational leadership\,\n\ncommunications\,\n\nLCES\n
 \nand tactical decision making.\n\nTraining Hours:  12‐16 Classroo
 m\nFriday Night:  January 26  1800‐2200\nSaturday:     January 2
 7  0800‐1700\n\nFFSL May  provide lodging at double occupancy f
 or approved fire departments staying overnight\,  Saturday lunches
  may be provided by FFSL subject to budgetary restraints.\n**All
  student nominations to be sent to the Southwest Area FFSL Offi
 ce to ensure all students meet the required trainings for accept
 ance into these courses.
